Overview

Gaming Partners International® SAS, or GPI® SAS, is the worldwide specialist in manufacturing gaming chips and offers three brands of chips to customers. GPI SAS is a subsidiary of Gaming Partners International® Corporation and manufactures all Bourgogne et Grasset® chips, including the world-renowned B&G™ JAV value chips. GPI SAS is also the exclusive distributor for Bud Jones® and Paulson® chips all over the world except in North America and in the Caribbean Islands.

History

GPI SAS, previously known as Bourgogne et Grasset®, has a long established history in supplying chips to casinos from Macau to London, and from Monte Carlo to Sydney. GPI SAS has been at the forefront of manufacturing value chips and wheelchecks with a proven track record. The wide range of products and vast experience in the casino field, in addition to working directly with managing directors and table managers, makes GPI SAS the ideal partner to choose the arrangement of the right chips. GPI SAS has a long tradition of quality and experience that has been combined with an efficient research and development department. This enables GPI SAS to produce the highest quality and widest variety of state-of-the-art gaming chips.

Security

GPI® SAS strives to be the most reliable chip manufacturing and distributing company. GPI SAS follows a very strict sales policy that consists of selling only to licensed casinos directly anywhere in the world. Generally, B&G™ chips are not supplied to the public, advertising companies, or any other business firms. All B&G chips are made in Beaune, France. Paulson® chips are made in Mexico, and Bud Jones® chips are made in Las Vegas, Nevada. At GPI SAS, the production process is highly secure with internal procedures based on many years of experience. Each employee is screened and all of the facilities utilize a video surveillance system. A specialized plan has been developed with access controls and high security zones with access limited to specially accredited personnel. GPI SAS follows quantity and quality control procedures and verification of procedure applications set by the Internal Audit Department.

GPI® SAS provides all B&G™ chips. They offer three different lines of value chips: JAV chips, S2 chips, and Full Face chips. JAV and S2 chips are famous for their feel, their material, and their soft colours.

All the value and non-value chips are injection moulded by highly sophisticated presses. JAV chips and S2 chips are available in 49 different soft colours.

For the last decade, the most successful range has been the JAV chips. They are heavy weighted chips (approximately 14 grams for 39mm chips) and are available in four different diameters 39mm, 41mm, 43mm, and 45mm. The chips are made in two or three colours, can have a customized rim, and are available in a wide range of patterns. In the center there is a décor, which is made out of a printed central decal. The decal is always lined up with the inserts. All the latest security features can be added to the chip, including RFID. The beveled edge, the smooth surface, and the weight ease the manipulation of the chips.

The latest range of gaming chips are the S2 chips. They are made for optical identification with appropriate readers. They offer the greatest choice of colour combinations and are available in two sizes, 39mm & 43mm, and in 21 different patterns with more to come soon. Thanks to new moulds, the S2 chip can be injected in two, three or even four different colours. The number of edge inserts can range from 6 to 24. They can be light weight (8.2 grams) or medium weight (11 grams) for 39mm chips. A casino logo, casino name, and denomination can be printed on the decal by transfer printing or by a four-colour process. The options given are unlimited and the decal is available in three sizes. S2 chips are also available with RFID.

The Full Face chips are ideal for special casino events and for commemorative chips. Thanks to a new technique of pad printing, the chip can be printed on the entire face of each side as well as on the edge. The design of the edge is lined up with the sides. Every Full Face chip is printed using a four-colour process, allowing for any design, drawing, or picture to be displayed. The chips are available in two sizes, 39mm and 44mm, weighing 10.6 grams and 12.2 grams respectively. The Full Face chips allow customers to have distinctive and highly aesthetic chips that differ from the main chipbank.
