HOW TO CHOOSE A B&G™ Chip
All GPI® SAS chips are custom made for each casino. GPI
SAS’s multilingual and experienced sales force travels
all over the world to meet customers in order to help gaming
and casino managers to choose the arrangementt of their chip
bank. This allows the sales force to be a gaming and casino
manager’s best partner.
In order for casino managers to choose the arrangement of
their chip bank, a choice must first be made for one range
of chips between JAV chips or S2 chips. After selecting the
range of chips for each denomination, choices must be made
for:
- Colour combination, the base colour and the
one, two, or three edge spot colours.
- Size of the edge inserts: plain or reduced.
- Size of the chip from 39mm to 45mm.
- Number of edge spots from 3 to 24.
- Printing process, between silk screen and
four-colour process.
- The most important point, the security features.

All of the 39mm JAV value chips are available in 18 different
moulds. The moulds are sorted by the number of inserts: three,
four, or six; by their shape: solid, split, or double split;
and by their size: plain or reduced. The larger chips, from
41mm to 45mm are available in some moulds with four, six or
eight inserts. For all reduced inserts, (Click to view) a standard inner ring can be added with a symbol
or a value. The inner ring can be customized too, a favourite
option for most casinos. A see-through lunette can be die
cut into the outer ring.

Thanks to many top of the line plastic injection moulding
machines, more than 20 patterns are already available and
there are many more to come.

B&G™ chips are available in 49 colours. These printed
colours are close representations only and may vary on the
finished chip. To help in the selection of chip colours, the
“puzzle kit” enables customers to try and test any
colour combination.

GPI® SAS has developed a large décor finish line
for all B&G™ value chips thanks to an experienced
and top rated production and art department. The decal can
be printed utilizing different technologies in order to make
the casino logo stand out, along with the casino name and
denomination.
DIFFERENT PRINTING PROCESS
- Pad printing: Text in black only, stamped directly on
the chip.
- Transfer printing: two or more colours screen-printed
on a white or coloured background.
- Four colour process: any design or picture can be printed
in full graphics.
- A serial number can be printed on the decal.
DIFFERENT DÉCOR FINISHES
- Coloured diffraction foil cut as a circle.
- Whole decal made out of a coloured foil.
- Partial diffraction foil combined with a transfer print.
- Generic holograms.
- Customized holograms.
The décor choices are available in three sizes (A,
B, and C) for S2 chips. The JAV chips décor choices
are available in one size only. All of the decal centers are
a plus for CCTV control, and offer great aesthetic appeal

B&G™ SECURITY FEATURES
Security has always been a top priority for GPl® SAS.
Always striving to make each chip as safe as possible, the
R&D department has tested and integrated all of the latest
technologies into the chips to make them safer.
In order to enhance security on chips and to prevent counterfeiting,
B&G™ chips has developed a large choice of security
features both on the decal and in the chip.
ON THE DECAL:
UV PIGMENTS
Ultraviolet pigments can be added to the print work on the
decal in two ways. Print work can be mixed with a gold or
silver print that will glow green under a UV light. Or invisible
printing can be added that will only be revealed in red
under a UV light.
LASER LOCK MATERIAL
Laser Lock, developed by Laser Lock Technologies, Inc, is
a patented product developed to make products safer. Laser
Lock components are mixed with the ink and are revealed
as green under an invisible laser beam sent by a special
pen.
HOLOGRAMS (Click to view)
Sophisticated and customized holograms can be incorporated
as a décor on the chip. A holographic background
can be a new support for the center decal. The printing
of the casino name and logo are still printed on the decal.
Holograms can be made with tamper evident materials that
break apart. Holograms not only make the chip more secure,
but also are more aesthetically appealing and give a unique
look to the chip.
IN THE CHIP:
UV PIGMENT (Click to view)
UV pigments can be added during the moulding injection into
the second or the third colour of the chip. Under a UV light,
the UV pigments are revealed in the inner ring or on the
edge spots.
3 Levels of Security are Available
UV LEVEL 1: Standard UV pigment incorporated into
secondary colour will glow yellow under a standard long
wave UV light.
UV LEVEL 2: Special UV pigment incorporated in
edge spot colour will glow green under a special short
wave UV light.
UV LEVEL 3: Special UV pigment incorporated in
edge spot colour will react to both types of wave lengths.
The same insert will glow pink under a standard long wave
and yellow under a short wave light.

Laser Lock, developed by Laser Lock Technologies, Inc.,
is a patent product developed to make products safer. Laser
Lock components are mixed with the plastic compound and
will be revealed by a green spot in the main colour under
an invisible laser beam sent out by a special pen.
DETECTION (Click to view)
To prevent against staff stealing, GPI® SAS has made
the chips detectable. Thanks to an active material inside
the chip, a system of antennas can detect any chip carried
away by staff outside the gaming floor.
LUNETTE (Click to view)
Thanks to high tech tools, a see-through lunette can be
injected on the outer ring of the chip.
SAFECHIP™ (Click
to view)
A microchip can be embedded in a value chip for all JAV
& S2 chips. GPI SAS developed Safechip™. Safechip™
has the same look, same feel, and approximately the same
weight as regular JAV chips. Safechip™ offers
the ultimate in terms of security . Thanks to readers at
the cage and on the table, Safechip™ opens doors to
many chip tracking and accounting applications.
B&G™ JSV2 ROULETTE CHIPS (Click to view)
GPI® SAS has developed two lines of roulette chips: roulette
chips with a decal, or JSV2, and roulette chips with an injected
logo, or JSVbi. Both types are fully compatible with chipping
machines thanks to their special edge shapes. They weigh 8.6
grams and are available in 48 different colours.
JSV2, our first line of wheelchecks offers casinos the opportunity
to have any logo or symbol printed on a decal. The chips can
also be customized with the casino name.
On the edge of the chip, a ring of diamonds or 12 to 29 edge
spots are injected.
B&G™ JSVbi ROULETTE CHIPS (Click to view)
JSVbi is GPI® SAS’s second line of roulette chips.
The logo is an injection moulded design. More than 30 logo
designs are available. Special and customized logos can be
developed upon request. Casino names can be injected in the
custom inner ring. They weigh 8.7 grams. The edge is made
out of 24 edge spots.

Full Face chips give casinos a great flexibility for customizing
their chips both on the sides and on the edges. GPI®
SAS’s unique technique enables them to match the design
on the edges with each side.
A four-colour process offers the possibility to print any
design or picture to create a very attractive and stylish
chip. GPI SAS’s printing process is long lasting thanks
to a dented surface.
This low cost chip is the ideal product for all special
events and commemorative chips. Laser Lock pigment can be
added to Full Face chips.
The 39mm Full Face chips weigh 10.4 grams and are also
available in 44mm, weighing 12.2 grams.
HOT STAMPED CHIPS (Click to view)
Hot stamped chips are ideal for low denomination chips.
The large majority of hot stamped chips are made in one
colour, with 21 different colours to choose from. The printing
can be made in one or more colours thanks to a customized
die.
