PLAQUES & JETONS
SECURITY FEATURES
Security has always been the guideline at GPI® SAS. From
the manufacturing process to the final product, there is a
guaranteed high level of security. Besides the sophisticated
manufacturing process, the research is always ongoing to enhance
the security features of the plaques and jetons. GPI SAS develops
optional features to make the products resistant to counterfeiting.
LUNETTES (Click to view)
Having selected the size, the shape, the type of finish, and
the number of colours, the customer may wish to add one, two,
or three lunettes to the plaque or jeton. These lunettes are
manufactured from a contrasting material and are inserted
into the plaque and jeton. They are normally circular in shape,
made from a see-through material that enhances the aesthetics
of the product and makes plaques and jetons more difficult
to counterfeit. The lunettes can also be printed inside, and
can be placed alone in the center, scattered in two corners,
three in a triangle, or overlapping. They can also have a

NUMBERING
All GPI SAS plaques and jetons are available numbered with
a serialized number engraved on one or both sides. A five
digit serial number is clear, but can also be in black or
in white. For re-orders, the plaques and jetons will have
a continued serial number.
DETECTION
To prevent against staff theft, GPI SAS has made plaques and
jetons detectable. Thanks to an active material inside the
plaque and jeton, a system of antennas can detect any plaque
or jeton carried away by staff outside the gaming floor.
UV PIGMENTS (Click to view)
UV pigments can be added to printing colours. They are revealed
in green under a UV light. A logo or a name can be printed
anywhere on the plaque or jeton thanks to an invisible UV
ink. It will also be revealed in green under a UV light.
LASER LOCK
Laser Lock, developed by Laser Lock Technologies, Inc, is
a patented product developed to make products safer. Laser
Lock components are mixed with the ink and will be revealed
by a green spot in the main colour under a beam sent by a
special pen.
PLAQUE WITH RFID (Click to view)
Safechip™ are plaques and jetons with an embedded microchip.
In a lunette, a contactless and encoded microchip or RFID
is incorporated. Each RFID has a unique serial number that
can be read thanks to readers placed on the tables, with the
pit boss, or at the cage. Plaques and jetons with RFID become
more counterfeit resistant, and open doors to automatic accounting
and plaque and jeton tracking at the tables and on the gaming
floor.
