B&G® ROULETTE WHEELS - Overview
Bourgogne et Grasset® roulette wheels from Gaming Partners
International® SAS have been manufactured for many years
in Beaune, France. GPI® SAS directly sells and ships B&G™
wheels all over the world exclusively to licensed casinos,
including those located in the USA, in the states where GPI
SAS is licensed. From international operators such as Casino
Austria and Holland Casino to European independent large casinos
such as Madrid, Stockholm or Montreux to cruise ships and
Native American casinos, B&G wheels have been the roulette
wheels of choice.
B&G roulette wheels are top-of-the-line and are world
renowned for their reliable quality and craftsmanship. The
roulette wheels are the result of a thorough study in precision
mechanics. All wheels are equipped with highsecurity separators,
machined from a solid piece of metal with tolerances of plus/minus
0.02mm.
The B&G wheel range includes both American and French
wheels. The American wheel is available in S.E., Classic,
or with “Corian® Ball Track.” The Classic French
wheel is produced with the same attention to precision and
security as the American wheel. All B&G wheels are designed
for easy maintenance and each one is individually checked
on 12 different points before leaving the factory. A quality
certificate can be issued with the wheels upon request.

THE BOWL: The material used for the construction of
the bowl is MDF, more stable than wood. It is built up with
layers of continuous rings, therefore there are no radial
joints whatsoever. Decoration is achieved with real cherry
wood veneer. Due to the inherent stability of the construction,
GPI® can polish the bowl with the hardest known polyester
varnish giving maximum durability, without having to compromise
with a more flexible material necessary to accommodate moving
joints.
THE CONE: The central cone is made of brass and chrome
to prevent any marking and landmark.
THE BALL STOPS: The ballstops are made of solid stainless
steel, chromed and polished. They are tight pressed and glued
in the bowl. Wheels are available with 8, 12 or 14 ball stops.
THE SEPARATORS RING: The separators ring is CNC machined
from a single piece of brass, chromed and polished. It is
supported on three spring loaded precision balls and can be
repositioned in any of 37 (or 38) positions by moving it clockwise
or counter-clockwise. The separators ring is locked in position
by the turret. The tolerances of CNC machined separators rings
are + or – 0.02mm.
NUMBERS RING: Made in one polycarbonate piece, it
is secured in position with epoxy resin and machined in situ
to form one integral surface.
BEARING & LUBRICATION SYSTEM: This bearing spindle
and height adjustment are CNC machined from solid stainless
steel. The bearings are factory lubricated and sealed for
life.
THE ROTOR: This is CNC machined from solid aluminum
(not from cast aluminum to avoid porosity). The rotor spins
for at least six minutes from a reduced speed of 25 rpm. The
height adjustment is achieved from the top, without removing
the rotor. If one were to unscrew and remove the turret, one
would see the height adjuster nut with its locking nut. By
using the specific key (supplied with the wheel) at its correct
end, one could unscrew the locking nut. The other end of the
tool is used to adjust the height nut (clockwise to go up,
counterclockwise to go down) in order to bring the rotor to
the desired level. Once the height adjustment is correct,
the locking nut should be locked again.
WHEEL MAINTENANCE: The rotor only needs to be removed
to clean the bowl monthly. The bearings never need to be cleaned
or oiled as they are sealed for life. Appropriate cleaning
products, that don’t contain gas or silicone, should
be used for the wooden parts.
OPTIONS: This wheel is also available in double zero
version (38 numbers) and/or with capstan (upon request). The
cone can be customized in metal with a specific coating allowing
different colors and patterns. The ball track can be made
with Corian®.
